Exceptional Children's Assistance Center

Mastering Special Needs

The Exceptional Children's Assistance Center (ECAC) is dedicated to empowering families of children with special needs by providing essential resources and support. From birth to age 26, ECAC helps parents navigate the special education system, understand their rights, and effectively advocate for their children. With a team of Parent Educators who are themselves parents of children with special needs, ECAC brings firsthand experience and practical knowledge to their services. They offer training, information, and resources to help families become their child's best advocates in school and beyond. Additionally, ECAC supports young adults with disabilities in developing self-advocacy skills and leadership qualities, ensuring that both families and professionals have the tools they need to thrive.
